‘Border Czar’ Tom Homan: We’re Going To Enforce The Law Without Apology

Trump administration ‘border czar’ Tom Homan touted the first week of immigration raids across the U.S. during an appearance Monday on FOX News. His statements have been consistent in all of his interviews, whether with liberal or conservative leaning media.

“Yesterday, during the operation I was part of, I can tell you we arrested more than 9 Tren de Aragua members, one was selling weapons — this is an illegal alien gang member in the U.S. selling illegal guns to other gang members,” Homan said.

“We arrested two illegal aliens with murder convictions who were walking the streets, at least 7 sexual predators, mostly child predators, people with assault allegations, extreme sexual assault.”

“These are all bad people, public safety threats, they shouldn’t be walking the streets of Chicago. If they weren’t a sanctuary city, we could have arrested them in the safety and security of the jail, rather than in the community.”

When asked to respond to video of singer Selena Gomez crying in response to the deportations, Homan said “I don’t think we’ve arrested any families, we’ve arrested public safety threats and national security threats, bottom line.”

Deporting illegal immigrants, especially illegal immigrants who have committed a violent crime, is something that a majority of Americans support. For that reason, the outrage from the far left over these deportations is being largely ignored.

When it comes to immigration, if you break US laws, you will be held accountable. The United States will not apologize for enforcing our own laws.
