Left-leaning Pollster: Trump the favorite to win the election

A new set of battleground state polls by Morning Consult shows Donald Trump ahead of Kamala Harris in Wisconsin, Georgia, and North Carolina, with the polls tied in Pennsylvania and Arizona. Kamala Harris has a lead in Michigan.

While the polls are within the margin of error, Trump remains the slight favorite.

The pollster, whose final survey had Biden winning the national vote in 2020 by 8 points, has historically leaned heavily towards the Democratic party.

Now, the poll has Harris winning the national vote by only 2 points. In the 2020 election, Morning Consult Polls underestimated Republican support in every single swing state.

With the election quickly approaching on Nov. 5th, this is a welcome sign for the Trump campaign just 2 days out from election day.
