Nations League Final – USA Player Ratings vs Mexico
The United States beat Mexico 2-0 in the Nations League Final. Making it three straight Nations League wins over their arch rivals. USA dominated for most of the game, and the score line could’ve easily been higher.
THE RATINGS
Starting 11
Turner: 7 –Made the saves he needed to make and had good quick distribution.
Dest: 8 –Jogo bonito the whole game on the right. Constantly put the mexican defenders in the mixer
Robinson: 6.5 –Had some good battles on the left with Lozano and while he did get beat a few times, he did also had good defensive sequences. Also got forward to deliver some balls into the box.
Ream: 6.5 –Gave the ball away a good amount of times in his distribution, but defended well against the mexican attack.
Richards: 6 – Had a few shaky moments, also had some good clearances.
Adams: 8 – An absolute rocket of a strike in the first half gave the USA the lead. Made his mark.
Reyna: 8.5 – Golazo on the half volley. In addition to his goal he was an absolute pest for Alvarez. Won several balls in the midfield.
Mckennie: 7.5 – Held the ball very well in tight areas and assisted Tyler Adams in the first goal. Solid game from the Juventus midfielder.
Pulisic: 8 – Had a chance in the first half and created the chance that led to the second goal. Played well.
Weah: 7 –Great work rate on the night. Had a good chance in the first half and looked to get on the score sheet the second half.
Wright: 6 – Drew some good fouls including a good one just outside the box, but didn’t have many involvements outside of that.
SUBS
Johnny: 7.5 –Came in well to replace Adams. Kept the ball, won the ball, and played smart in his clearances.
Balogun: 6 – Came on but didn’t have many opportunities to get on the scoresheer.
Musah: 6.5 – Came in and created a chance
