Player Ratings – Bournemouth suffer a narrow defeat to Manchester City
Bournemouth fell to Manchester City 1-0 on a Phil Foden tap in that ended up being the difference. The Cherries did have their fair share of chances, but were unable to capitalize.

Neto: 6.5 – Made the box his on the night and had a couple good saves. Not much he could do on the Foden goal.
Smith: 7 –Did a great job on Doku and arguably should’ve had a foul on the outside of the box.
Zabarnyi: 6 – Did a good job on Haaland on the night, and showed grit going up against the City attack.
Senesi: 6 – Had some good clearances on the night. Was subbed out early due to yellow card.
Kerkez: 6 –Got up the left hand side quite a bit, but wasn’t able to deliver the final ball. Did well to get a touch on the Haaland chance which was eventually saved by Neto.
Christie: 7.5 – Fantastic linkup play in the midfield and was very positive, had a beautiful through ball to Semenyo.
Cook: 6 –Pretty quiet on the night, but that could be a good thing. Manchester City midfielders weren’t particularly notable on the night, and Cook played a part in that.
Semenyo: 8 – Looked up for it on the night with some good turns and runs in behind. Got the best of Ake a couple of times. Delivered a beautiful ball to Enes Unal that should’ve was inches away from being in the back of the net.
Kluivert: 5 –Tested Ederson in the beginning of the second half but did not have many involvements outside of that.
Tavernier: 4 – Had two big chances that he should’ve put away
Solanke: 6 – Inches away from making it 1-1 on the header, and was heavily involved up until the end. Unfortunate that he couldn’t tuck one away.
SUBS
Scott: 6 –Came on and did his part in the midfield.
Outtara: 4 –Should’ve delivered better balls on the opportunities he had in behind. Had a good solo dribble that nearly
