Lascelles: 7.5 – Had a string of fantastic tackles. A unit on the night. Great game.
Schar: 7.5 –Showed his class on the backline and barely let the Arsenal forwards get a touch in the box.
Burn: 6 – Had some good tackles before he was forced to get subbed off due to injury.
Longstaff: 6 – Decent game from the midfielder. Had no notable errors.
Guimares: 7 – Was a pest all night against the Arsenal midfield. Also had some questionable elbows, but he got away with it and credit to him.
Joelinton: 8 – Thought he had a fantastic night. He kept possession well, got stuck in, and played a role in the goal.
Almiron: 6 – Was very positive going forward and was involved in a few good buildups that almost ended up in a goal.
Wilson: 5 – Didn’t have many involvements on the night.
Gordon: 7 – Had a couple wasted opportunities but right place at the right time and got his goal, and that was the difference on the night.
