New York Jets Grades vs Bills
The New York Jets defeated the Buffalo Bills in a thrilling opener on Monday Night Football. This game had everything, and on September 11th, reminded us why we love America so much.
Offense: (C+) Aaron Rodgers injury on only his 4th play made things difficult for offense. Zach Wilson struggled to get it going at first, but made some plays in the 4th with some good throws and scrambles. Credit to Lazard for being a good outlet and Garrett Wilson’s TD was an early contender for catch of the year.
Defense: (A-) Had three interceptions all by Jordan Whitehead, 5 sacks, a fumble and only allowed less than 200 yards of offense. They kept Josh Allen in check and the receivers covered well. Robert Saleh coached team. DEFENSE won the Jets the game.
Special Teams: (A) A couple good punts, three field goals, and a PAT. Oh, and how can you forget that punt return to win the game. What a night for the special teams.
