The 2023 NFL Season Is Here!
The 2023 NFL Season is here! You always know that Fall has arrived when America’s most popular sport gets underway. College football started last week, but Sunday football is starting now.
No matter what part of the country you are from, what your political ideology is, how much you make, you live in an area where Football is big. Sure, football is bigger in some parts of the country than others, notably the South. But no matter where you go, the NFL is a big deal.
Will Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs repeat? They are the favorites. Will the Eagles win for the first time in 6 years? What about the Bills? Is it finally their time to win a Super Bowl? And can the 49ers finally put the pieces together to go with their stellar defense?
We will see what happens. For all we know, maybe the Cowboys will finally make a deep run in the playoffs. Who are we kidding? we know that is not going to happen. But in the NFL, anything can happen. There are so few games, and playoffs are obviously one offs, that the margins are about as slim as they possibly can be.
I’ve always loved that College Football and the NFL run concurrently, college football on Saturday and the NFL on Sunday. It means you can watch football all weekend. But one problem with the NFL playing on Sunday, is it is always associated with the final day before beginning the work week again. That sense of dread often feels like it will always accompany watching the NFL.
But that aside, it’s always a good thing when the NFL is back. The 2023 NFL season is here! Let’s sit back, relax, and enjoy some football!
