Biden apparently hadn’t been screened for prostate cancer since 2014

In response to the new book from Jake Tapper about the coverup of Biden’s decline (which we all already knew about through watching him), and Biden’s unfortunate prostate cancer diagnosis, questions have arisen about how such a severe diagnosis could have just come up.
We know that the press and Biden’s aides have been covering up the former President’s decline. But to get to the advanced stage of cancer that Biden is at, with the cancer now spread to his bones, Mr Biden would have had prostate cancer for years.
Some people say that it could take up to 10 years for a cancer to metastasize to where it is now, meaning that Biden could have had cancer when he was running for President back in 2019.
If this is the case, how was Biden allowed to run for President in 2020, much less govern for 4 years, and initially try to run for re-election in 2024? Assuming that Biden’s cancer takes years to develop, either Biden and his aides knew he had cancer and he ran anyway, or he had cancer for multiple years without knowing.
Either possibility is shameful. One possibility means that there was a cover-up about a life-threatening illness to a candidate for, and then occupier of, the Presidency of the United States.
Another possibility is that Biden somehow didn’t have himself checked for cancer for the better part of a decade, and thus had cancer for years without knowing. We can never know for sure, because the only people who do know for sure, Biden’s inner circle, are not reliable sources.
They could never admit that they knowingly hid Biden having cancer from the American people, so in all likelihood, the narrative will be that Biden didn’t check for prostate cancer for over a decade. That, while a problem, isn’t as scandalous as hiding a cancer diagnosis.
It’s an unfalsifiable claim, so we will have to go with this narrative. Even if we were to assume that it was true, it would represent a shocking lack of transparency and respect for the public’s need to know about the health of a man who was the Leader of the Free World for 4 years.
Thus, the claim that Biden hadn’t been screened for prostate cancer since 2014 is not going to let the Biden team off the hook. They might argue that men over 70 are less likely to screen for prostate cancer, but an elected official must go through health checkups that the private citizen does not necessarily need to have.
And if the claim that Biden’s last prostate cancer screening was over a decade ago is true, that is a personal tragedy for Mr Biden. If he had been screened regularly since then, the cancer could have been identified much earlier, and treatment would have begun much sooner, and likely stopped the spread of the cancer to his bones.
This is a sad situation for Biden personally, and the former President deserves our sympathy at a personal level. But the people who covered up Biden’s decline, and who made the alleged decision to not have him checked for prostate cancer for over a decade need to be held accountable.
