Kamala Harris accused of plagiarism in 2009 book – Mainstream outlets remain silent
Kamala Harris has been accused of plagiarizing portions of her co-authored 2009 criminal-justice book, Smart on Crime.
The investigation first conducted by Dr. Stefan Weber, an Austrian ‘plagiarism hunter’ shows that she may have copied a passages from Wikipedia verbatim, copied press releases from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and failed to cite an AP/NBC news report.
The evidence was corroborated by Christopher Rufo, a key figure responsible for surfacing evidence of plagiarism by former Harvard President Claudine Gay. These claims eventually led to her resignation.

Kamala Harris is scheduled for an interview on Fox News on Wednesday with Bret Baier. If the scandal grows, it’s possible that Harris will be forced to answer to these claims during the interview.
The Harris Campaign has yet to respond to these accusations.
