Donald Trump becomes the ‘Joy’ Candidate

For all the attempts of the Harris campaign to portray the Vice President as the candidate of ‘joy,’ it is Donald Trump who seems to be the happy one. Maybe it is because he is skyrocketing in the polls and in the betting odds.

Or maybe it’s just Donald Trump’s demeanor. No matter how many lies are said about him, no matter how much law fare he is a victim of, no matter how many assassination attempts on the 45th President, Donald Trump always seems to have a positive attitude, a great sense of humor, and makes his rallies fun and interactive.

While Kamala Harris is refusing to campaign with sitting President Joe Biden, Donald Trump is having a great time working at McDonald’s, trolling Harris for her lies about working there, and having great interactions with ordinary citizens.

For a man with nearly every institution not only against him, but actively lying and pushing fabricated narratives against him, Donald Trump looks to be not just winning, but having fun while doing it.

Who else could be facing a system that not only is doing everything they can to make him lose, but actively trying to imprison him, and still campaign every day with a sense of humor, and genuinely have fun?

There are reports of infighting and despair within the Harris campaign, at just the wrong moment for the Democrats. Are the Democrats realizing, too late, that the media and identity politics can shield Kamala Harris from needing to bring something substantive to the table for only so long?

Kamala Harris never was, but Donald Trump is becoming, if he isn’t already, the ‘joy’ candidate.
