Israel And Hezbollah May Already Be At War

After the October 7th terrorist attacks by Hamas, Israel knew that they had to eradicate the terror group once and for all. But in the course of doing so, an anti-Israel frenzy has been whipped up in much of the world. Not just in people in countries around the globe, but in terrorist actors and the supporters.

The chief supporter of these anti Israel terror groups is Iran. But Iran’s strongest terror group ally is not Hamas. It is Hezbollah. While Hamas runs Gaza, Hezbollah is located in Lebanon. Hamas is much weaker than Hezbollah. And while Hamas is Sunni, Hezbollah is Shia.

Normally, the sectarian divide in Islam would create a rift. But both terror groups’ anti-Semitism, hatred, and penchant for terror, see them teaming up against Israel. As the IDF continues to kill top Hamas leaders, Iran has become more likely to try to strike out against Israel.

The primary lever Iran uses to strike out against Israel is Hezbollah. While there have been skirmishes along the Israel-Lebanon border for a while, it looks increasingly like there will be much heavier fighting in the coming days, if not coming hours. There are already rocket fire alerts in the northern Israeli town of Nahariyya.

Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah said that their conflict with Israel has entered a “new phase” after senior commander Fuad Shukr was killed by Israel. Both sides look set for a serious escalation. Hezbollah are theocratic fanatics, and are willing to start a war to try to kill Israelis, even if it means Lebanese people dying.

Israel know that they have to be strong against any and all threats, so they will not back down. It’s gotten to the point that we might not even be at the phase of talking about a war starting soon. We might already be witnessing the start of a war between Israel and Hezbollah right now.
