NFL legend Lawrence Taylor spoke at a Donald Trump rally in New Jersey. Taylor was also joined by former NFL running back Otis Anderson on stage. Lawrence Taylor spent his entire 12 year NFL career with the New York Giants. He is a two-time Super Bowl champion, and won the league’s Most Valuable Player award in 1986.
At the rally for Trump, Taylor said that he grew up a Democrat and had been a Democrat until he met Trump. He then said that “nobody in my family will ever vote for a Democrat again.” He received rapturous applause from the pro-Trump crowd, which Donald Trump, standing near by, loved.
“Don’t you just love that guy?” Taylor said in reference to Trump. Chants of “U-S-A” broke out shortly after. While New Jersey is not a competitive swing state in the 2024 election, Donald Trump likes to have rallies in many corners of the nation.
Maybe he thinks he can make New Jersey competitive? It is hard to believe, but Donald Trump has never doubted his ability to do things we never thought possible. While Donald Trump leads in kew swing states, we are a long way out from the election. Anything can happen.
