Inter Miami Player Ratings vs SKC: Messi shines with a goal and assist
Inter Miami beat Sporting Kansas City in a packed Arrowhead Stadium in what was a very entertaining fixture. Despite the SKC loss, the crowd on hand of 72,610 got the entertaining game that they were hoping for as the GOAT of football came to play.
Starting XI ( Ratings out of 10)
Callender: 6.5 Made a good save in the first half, not much he could do on either goal from KC.
Weigandt: 6 – Had a bad giveaway that led to a goal but settled down in the second half.
Freire: 7 –Good distribution on the night and won his fair share of tackles.
Aviles: 7 – Played well and had a fantastic tackle on Walter to prevent a certain goal.
Alba: 7.5 – Very positive going forward on the night. Sadly had to get subbed off due to injury.
Ruiz: 7 –Great first time pass to Messi on the goal and had a good game in the middle.
Busquets: 7.5 – Pulled the strings in the midfield very well in the second half.
Gressel: 4 – Not his best night. Had a string of bad giveaways and poor balls.
Gomez: 8.5 –What a game from him. Had a great run in behind to finish off a Messi pass for the first Inter Miami goal, and won the ball and assisted Suarez on the third.
Suarez: 7.5 – Looked active and got his goal on the night.
Messi: 9 – Fantastic pass on the first goal and a cracking strike for the second goal. The greatest of all time was on one today.

Cremaschi: 5 – Came on for his first appearance on the season and was a bit rusty, which is to be expected.
Negri: 7 – Did well after coming on. Had a gorgeous dribble.
