Spain Beat England To Win The 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup

Spain beat England to win the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup. In a battle between two sides in their first ever Women’s World Cup final, Spain came out on top. They won courtesy of a 29th minute goal by Olga Carmona.

That Spain did so without 12 top players is all the more impressive. England had a host of chances, including hitting the post. They honestly could have had a couple goals had they been clinical. They will rue their inability to convert when it truly mattered.

Spain, besides their goal, had chances as well. They even missed a penalty kick in the 69th minute. But throughout the tournament, Spain played the most beautiful soccer. While they did los to Japan 4-0, the match seemed like a fluke, even as it happened.

When Spain was focused, they utterly controlled the game with they incredible passing and close control. They were truly a joy to watch. And they did all this with an extremely young team (their goal scorer is 23), and with many top players not even at the tournament. Will Spain be a force in this game for the next decade?

Spain played in a way that everyone has to respect. Beautiful, technical, and winning. They are worthy winners. While one feels for England, it’s hard to argue against Spain being the proper winner of the match. Spain beat England to win the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, the first of many honors for Spain? We will see.
