Player Ratings- Inter Miami Falls to the New England Revolution

In the first game after the announcement of Lionel Messi’s signing, Inter Miami fell 3-1 to the New England Revolution. Miami had a horrendous first half where they struggled to produce anything going forward and the defense struggled to contain the Revolution attack. New England went into the half up 2-0 with goals from Carles Gil and Matt Polster. New England added a third early in the half by Bobby Wood. Inter Miami’s bright spots did come in the second half with the introduction of Pizzaro and Campana. The link up play between the midfielders and the attack was better. The wing backs also managed to get forward. A penalty kick committed on Campana saw them add a goal, but unfortunately it was too little too late.
