Per Multiple Sources, the Wagner Mercenary Group, led by Yevgeny Prigozhin, have captured Rostov. Below are videos of what we know about the situation so far. Putin has not commented on the situation, prompting the Russian Ruble to fall to lowest levels since the start of the Ukraine War.
Yevgeny Prigozhin announced earlier that he was leading a retaliation against the military leaders of Russia for causing the death of 100k troops in Ukraine. Prigozhin leads 25,000 soldiers in the Wagner Mercenary Group and is banking on a number of defectors in order to stage a further takeover of other cities.
